This project consisted of the replacement of dual twin timber
railroad bridges that was burned by arson. This bridge remained in service while the
adjacent bridge was replaced.

The bridges carried over 40
trains (passenger and freight) a day. The new bridges were 196 feet long
and consisted of steel pile and precast caps and beams. |

It was determined that one of the bridges was structurally sufficient
to carry the train loading. Upon completion the other bridge was
removed from service and replaced. |
